Alison
Gurnsey grew up in Calgary,
Alberta and achieved a B.A.
in English from the
University of Calgary.First diagnosed with
schizophrenia in 1991, she
has managed to live through
tremendous strife only to
come out the other side of
wellness to live in
serenity.
While
taking her medications
regularly and seeing her
therapist every two weeks, she
continues to write and work in
the community.Alison and her son live
in Ontario close to Toronto.
