Near
the end of World War II, a small
contingent of Allied soldiers made
an extraordinary discovery while on a
reconnaissance mission to a
remote area of the Sahara desert
known as the Sea of Sand.
Fifty years later, on a winding
snow-covered road, Jill Callum,
the lone occupant of a van, is
burned to death in a terrible
accident. Racked by feelings of
guilt, her husband John suffers
a nervous breakdown and is
tormented by nightmares of the
accident that claimed his young
wife.
Two weeks before his first
Christmas without her, questions
begin to arise: Was Jill simply
the victim of a tragic car
accident, or was she murdered?
How is this linked to the event
that happened so long ago in the
desert?
Follow John Callum on a
heart-pounding adventure to
discover the truth, which takes
him into the frozen wilderness
of the Canadian north, to Wales,
to the Himalayan mountains, and
finally to the Sea of Sand where
it all began.
What John learns will astound
you, but what he does with his
newfound knowledge will shock
you!
