I'm
Gretzky, You're Gretzky
by

I'm
Gretzky, You're Gretzky is
one day in the life of
seventeen year-old Wayne
O'Wayne of Ottawa. Set in the
future, American Imperialism,
like Corporatism, has
flourished without impingement
and the World-America has been
duly hyphenated.
The
story begins with Wayne waking
up and we spend the next 9
hours, intimately, with him.
While Wayne runs completely
afoul of the dreaded Morley
twins and The Big Companies,
his thoughts, prayers, and
stream of consciousness
alternate with the text to we
can, literally, read his mind.
I
don't know if I like that.
Wayne
encounters a steady stream of
outrageous characters and
situations. His high school,
for example, is sponsored and
run by The Big Beer Company.
It's
great if you're an alcoholic,
which is Their objective.
I'm
Gretzky, You're Gretzky is
a satire and a love story.
