Veikko
Loponen is a graduate of a
college Print-Journalism
Program, has written articles
ranging from humorous
editorials and military
history columns to ‘just the
facts Ma’am’ type of
feature interview stories.
His articles have appeared in
newspapers and magazines, and he has done a stint as The Assistant
Editor of a Canadian Forces Base newspaper. He is the author of the
following novels:
The
Irreverent P.I.
series of books chronicling the adventures, miss- and otherwise, of Al
Cross, the irreverent private investigator plying his trade in eighties
and nineties Toronto.
The Four
Musketeers, a story of four childhood
friends whose promise to aid and assist each other, and their decision
to honor that promise as adults, takes them on a violent journey to the
dark side;
Fate Plays,
where greed, violence, lust and love are all pieces in the play when
fate weaves its devious plans that change the pawns of its game forever;
and
The
Accrued Value Tax War, in which a
tyrannical government learns, to its dismay, that a man’s home is his
castle, and one treads on it with care when a man starts a guerrilla war
to protest the seizure of his home.
