It's time for the IPPYs - the 15th Annual Independent Publisher Book Awards for 2011. "Recognizing Excellence in Independent Publishing." To register your book, go HERE or email Jim Barnes, Awards Director, at jimb@bookpublishing.com for details.
HST takes effect in Ontario and BC Canada on July 1, 2010 and will be added to all services for those provinces from that date (13% in Ontario and 12% in BC). Book sales and printing, however, are exempt from the provincial portion of the HST so will only be subject to the federal portion of 5%.
